Workshops for Teachers
Teachers search for monarch eggs and caterpillars in a milkweed patch during the August 2003 workshop in Ontario
The Monarch Teacher Network is made of these veteran teachers. They share information and resources and are eligible to apply for fellowships to visit the monarch sanctuaries in Mexico. Many of them help to teach Monarch Teacher Network workshops the following August.

Ontario and New Jersey teachers pose during the August 2003 workshop held in Kingston, Ontario.
Additional support has also been provided by the October Hill Foundation, Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario and Shop-Rite Supermarkets. For more information, contact Erik Mollenhauer at erikm@eirc.org
FLASH: Teachers and educators from any state/province can register for Monarch Teacher Network workshops. Click here for the registration form/brochure for the 2008 workshops (PDF format; prints onto 11x14 legal-size paper).
