About the Program

The mission of NJA3/EIRC /Lindenwold School No. 4 P.E.A.C.E Program is to provide quality care, structured and enriching programs for school age children. Our after school program provides a safe, secure setting for all children to feel good about pursuing activities that spark their individual interest.  We encourage cooperation and provide opportunities to learn and experience recreational, academic, artistic and cultural programs through day to day activities.  Following the nine core elements of the New Jersey After 3 Vision; we promote individual achievement, cultural awareness, and good socializing skills.

Overall Goals of Program:

• Provide a loving atmosphere for each child.
• Provide a setting in which the child will enjoy the program.
• Help each child feel good about him/herself.
• Provide for individual interests and needs.
• Provide opportunities to learn and explore academic skills through day to day activities.
• Give each child the opportunity to solve problems and nurture problem solving abilities.
• Allow each child to make decisions and help sharpen decision making skills.
• Maintain an attitude which encourages questions.
• Provide opportunities for creativity.
• Develop self-reliance and independence.
• Encourage cooperation among children and stimulate the children's desire to socialize with each other.
• Provide for a healthy interaction among children.
• Provide opportunities for children to interact with a variety of caring adults in different settings.
  

Currently our Program offers: Arts & Crafts, Character Education & Community Service, Health & Lifeskills, Physical Education, Dance, Academic Mania, Game Room (Board Games), Cultural Enrichment (Children learn about various cultures), Cartoon & T.V History (Children watch T.V shows and Cartoons that have morals to the story/from the past. Ex Different Strokes and Fat Albert), and Photography
